Novella (Hedrick) Hyde

Novella Hyde, 93 of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 28, 2024, surrounded by her family.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Jasper and Mary Stewart Hedrick.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Judd Hyde in 2016; son-in-law, Roger Shuler; sister, Minnie Jo Watts; brothers, Ted Hedrick, Lennox Hedrick, and Diamond Hedrick.

          She is survived by her son, Harvey Hyde (Peggy); daughters, Janie Shuler, Kathy Shuler (Ronnie) all of Robbinsville, NC; sister, Roma Atwell of Robbinsville, NC, brothers, Loyd Hedrick of Robbinsville, NC, Ronnie Hedrick of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Deron Shuler (Kelly) of Hiawassee, GA, Monica Hall (Steve) of Melbourn, FL, Sophie Brown (Matt) of Bryson City, NC, Matthew Hyde (Afton) of Robbinsville, NC, Latisha Perkins (Willie) of Waynesville, NC, Michael Shuler (Kylie) and Landry Shuler (Kristen) both of Robbinsville, NC; great grandchildren, Kelsey Davis, Jay Shuler, Zack Hall, Garrett Hall, Carson Brown, Callyn Brown, Shelby Anderson, Camden Hyde, Taylor Oquendo, Trace Shuler, Grayson Perkins, Jeb Shuler, Judd Shuler, Zoie Shuler, Easton Shuler, and great great grandchildren, Hayden, Kennedy, Charlotte, Dallas, Presley, Caroline, Rhett, and Ayla.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, April 1, 2024, at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church.  The Reverends Daniel Stewart, Mickey Stewart, and Deron Shuler will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Carver Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Church prior to the service.
