Billy Don Trammell

          Billy Don Trammell, 74, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at North east Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

          Born in Houston, MS, he was the son of the late Ruth Stroupe Orr and the late Johnny Murray Trammell.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Sue Hill.

          He is survived by his daughter,  Angela Yeager of Mantee, MS, and his son, James Trammell of Atlanta, GA; his brothers, Wesley Trammell and Benny Orr, both of Robbinsville, NC; his sisters, Sandra Myers of Robbinsville, NC, and Bonita Conway of Lincolnton, NC.  He has 6 grandchildren, Ashley Lane, Sarah Scott, Isaac Trammell, Cody Baker, Hailey Elkins, and Taylor Baker, and 7 great grandchildren, Walker Lane, Jackson Lane, Hayden Scott, Liam Scott, Braelyn Elkins, Oakley Baker, and Harleigh Greiser.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 26, 2018 at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Scott Roper will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the Church, prior to the service.
