Brenda Gail Sherrill

Brenda Gail Sherrill, age 67 formerly of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice Center in Sumterville, FL.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Buddy Joe Orr and Mary Louise Lail.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mickey Rogers, Olin Orr; her sister, Carmine Orr Miller and by her beloved dog, Sam.

          She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Sherrill; her sons and their wives, Shannon and Joyce Sherrill of Webster, FL, Wesley and Michelle Sherrill of Cornelius, NC; Daughter and her husband, Crystal and Rocky Waldroup of St. Augustine, FL; brothers, Charles Rogers of GA, Rickey Rogers of Robbinsville, NC; sisters, Colleen Orr Mullinax, Carla Orr both of Robbinsville, NC, Sherry Orr and Cynthia Orr Christopher both of New Jersey.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Josh, Zack, Jacob and Savannah, Brenden, Logan, Abby; her great grandchildren, Gatlin and Granger.

           A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 25 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Eddie Hollifield will officiate.   The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm till 5:00 pm prior to the service.
