Clifton Lee Silvers

          Clifton Lee Silvers, 82, of the Beech Creek Community in Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

          A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Elza Monroe and Hattie Ida Farr Silvers.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Slivers.

          He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna Mae Rogers Silvers; his brother, John Clarence Silvers and his sister, Dorothy Marie Silvers, both of Robbinsville, NC.  He has several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend G.D. Phillips and Teddy Silvers will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday, at the Chapel, prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Old Mother Cemetery.
