David Steven Freeman

David Steven Freeman entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at Sweetgum Baptist Church.

David, better known as “Chico,” was born in Edenton GA., but lived in Robbinsville, NC his entire life. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a respected member of the land clearing industry. He was a loving father and grandfather. David had a talent for bringing joy to others and will surely be missed by all that knew him.

David is survived by his four children, David Michael Freeman, Angela (Joe) Martin, Steven (Ashley) Freeman, Sara (Eric) Stewart; seven grandchildren, Austin Sellers, ­Payne Anderson, William Anderson Jr, James Anderson, Summer Freeman, Slade Freeman, Bentleigh Freeman, and one great-grandchild, Bella Sellers. His siblings include Gary Gregory, Jennifer Elliot, Michael Freeman, Mark Freeman and Kathy Sawyer (deceased).
