Dorothy "Dot" (Bland) Webster

Dorothy Louise Webster “Dot”, 88, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

She was a native of Rutherford County, but has lived in Graham County for many years.  She was the daughter of the late Worth and Ann Whitener Bland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Igeary Webster.

Dot had a presence about her that radiated beauty and friendship.  With her outgoing personality and her positive mindset, there were no strangers in life, only friends that she hadn’t met yet.  Even on days she didn’t feel the best, she could be counted on to bring smiles to those around her.  She will be missed by her family, her friends, and her community.

She is survived by her son, Gary Webster of Robbinsville, NC; her grandchildren, Cassandra Lynn Webster and Benjamin Cole Webster, both of Georgia; her sisters, Jo Denton and Sylvia Lovelace, both of Robbinsville, NC; and her brother, David Bland of Texas.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Saturday at the Chapel, prior to the service.
