Elwanda (Gunther) Phillips

Elwanda Phillips, 62, of the Meadow Branch Community near Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC. 

A native of the Chattanooga, TN community, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Nannie Mae Wilcox Gunther.  IN addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tim Gunther. 

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Tonya and Steve Icenhower of Robbinsville, NC; her granddaughters, Madison Phillips of Andrews, NC, and Tatum Phillips, of Robbinsville, NC; her great grandson, Jaxxon Rollins; and her sisters and brothers in law, Imogene and James Burnette of Georgia, and Linda Gail and Charles Daniels of Tennessee. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday at Townson-Smith Chapel.
