Geraldine (Riddle) Rivers

Geraldine Riddle Rivers, age 86 Formerly of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at her son’s residence in Rembert, SC.

           She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Charlie and Nena Hyde Riddle.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold E. Riddle and Kenneth H. Riddle.

          She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Lloyd and Evelyn Jenkins of Rembert, SC; William Scott Rivers of TN; and daughter, Carol Rivers Cook of FL.  She has 13 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

          Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends Joe Stein and Tom Buchanan will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Holder Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm Wednesday at the Chapel prior to the service.
