Herve Cody

Herve Cody, 87, of Robbinsville, NC passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Cliff and Josie Wilson Cody.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Cody, Felix Cody, Gerald Cody, Verlis Cody, Delbert Cody, and Lester Cody, and his sister, Evelyn Barrett.

He was a contractor by trade and owned and operated Herve Cody Contracting for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Claudene Jones Cody; his sons and daughter in law, Dirk Cody and David and Crystal Cody, all of Robbinsville, NC; and his daughters and son in law, Donna Cody and Dana and Jack Adams, all of Robbinsville, NC; his grandchildren, Amber Davis, Dustin Cody, Macey Ayers, Brady Cody, CJ Cody, Will Adams, and Brianna Jumper.  His great grandchildren are McKynlee Adams, Charlotte Davis, Maverick Ayers, and Cora Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Tuskeegee Baptist Church.  The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Grant Burke will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Saturday at the church prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Old Mother Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the NC National Guard Honor Guard.
