James Mikeal Lancaster

James Mikeal “Mike” Lancaster, 58, of the Snowbird Community near Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at St. Josephs Hospital in Asheville, NC.

He was born in Albertville, AL, but had lived in Graham County for the last 5 years.

He was preceded in death by his father and step mother, James A. and Pat Lancaster. 

Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lisa Jenkins Lancaster; his children, Chase Lancaster and his wife, Lisa, Brian Lancaster, Matthew Lancaster, Christina Lancaster, Lilly Lancaster, and AbiGayle “Abby” Lancaster, all of Robbinsville, NC; his mother and step father, Linda and Charles Sharpe of Albertville, AL; his brothers and sisters in law, Steve and Emily Lancaster of Cornersville, TN, and Jason and Summer Lancaster of Robbinsville, NC; his chosen grandchildren, Ryder Fortenberry and Hermione Sampson; his special friends, Tony Patton, Adrian Turner, Billy Joe "BJ" Welch and several nieces and nephews.  The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Brett Crowe, Riley Crowe, Tabi Jordan, and Ella Graham for their love. 

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his residence, 565 Snowbird Woods, Robbinsville, NC 28771.  The Revered Coy Adams will officiate.
