James Carter Jenkins

James Carter Jenkins, age 75 of the Stecoah Community of Robbinsville, NC, passed away, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Everette and Virdie Jenkins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Ray Jenkins; daughter, Alice Faye Icenhower; and his wife, Allalee Holder Jenkins in April of 2014.

          He is survived by his daughters and son-in-laws, Jennie Jenkins and Rodney Carringer of the Stecoah Community, and Kaye Jones and Randell Sellers of Robbinsville, NC.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Clinton Jones, Amanda Halovsky; great grandchildren, Katelyn and Creed Jones, Jordan, Elizabeth and Phebe Halvosky; and 1 great great grandchild due in February.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends Jesse Crisp and Wayne McGuire will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Holder Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
