Jerry Lee Lovin

Jerry Lee Lovin, age 64, peacefully departed this world to be with the Lord, Monday, April 23, 2018. His daughter Amy, was lovingly by his side.

Jerry was preceded in death by his biological parents Cain & Rebecca Medlin Lovin, his father OB Lovin, and his brothers Oliver Lovin, Roger Lovin. 
 

Jerry will be fondly remembered by his mother Ruby Hyde Lovin, his children and thier spouses, Amy & Glen Welch, Tabitha & Alex Henry, Colby & Nancy Lovin, his six grandchildren, Brady Burchfield, Brody Burchfield, Keylie Jordan, Kamdyn Jordan, Keller Henry, and Oliver Lovin, and one great grandchild Brantley Burchfield.  He has three brothers, Dwight Lovin, Lionel Lovin, Edwin Lovin, two sisters, Betty Anderson, and Carolyn McGinnus, and last but not least, a very special nephew, boss man and friend, Brandon Lovin. 
 

The family finds peace in knowing that Jerry accepted Christ at Cable Cove Baptist Church and look forward to reuniting with him one sweet day in Heaven. Jerry was truly one of a kind, with a character and personality that was unforgettable. A natural trucker by trade, Jerry was the self-acclaimed face, mouth, and representative of Lovin Contracting. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and Co-workers.
 

Services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2:00 pm at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Visitation will be from 12pm until 2pm. Reverend Patrick O’Dell will officiate.  Burial will follow at Yellow Branch Cemetery.
