Keith Max Crisp Sr., age 86 left his home in Stecoah Valley to move into his home in Heaven, Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
He was a native of Graham County, the son of the late Loyd and Lydia Garland Crisp. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Keith Max Crisp Jr., daughters in law, Donna Jenkins Crisp, Kathy Hill Crisp; great grandson, Loudon Kyle Orr; brothers, Jack O. Crisp, Kenneth G. Crisp; sisters, Lois Crisp Andrews and Kathleen Crisp.
Keith and his son, Keith Max Crisp Jr. established Crisp and Crisp Construction Co. in 1974. After Keith’s retirement and the death of his son, Keith’s grandsons have continued to carry on with the business which made Keith very happy.
Keith is survived by his wife Shirley C. Crisp; daughter, Martha Atwell and her husband Randall; son, Eddie Crisp and his wife Carlene all of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren, John Keith Crisp, Jesse Crisp, Sterling Crisp, Candace Orr, and Morgan Atwell Ivey; great grandchildren, Evan Crisp, Kelly Crisp, Haylee Crisp, Cody Crisp, Landon Crisp, and Graham Ivey; sisters, Joan C. Hyde, Carol C. Smith and her husband George; sisters in law, Helen Shook, Mary Ruth Shuler; brother in law, Ralph L. Crisp and a host of nieces and nephews that loved their Uncle Keith very much.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Stecoah Baptist Church. The Reverends G.D. Phillips and Josh Hyde will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 3:00 pm Sunday at the Church prior to the service. Burial will follow the Services at the Jenkins Cemetery.
