Kevin Adrien Blevins

Kevin Adrien Blevins, 67, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Asheville, NC.

          He lived much of his life in Haywood County and was the son of Montez Peterson Blevins of Waynesville, NC and the late Philip Paul Blevins.

          Kevin was an avid fisherman who enjoyed watching NASCAR and building and restoring old cars.  He moved to Graham County several years ago and became “Pop” to many of the young men in the community because of his grandson, Aaron Bradley’s involvement in sports locally.  He cherished the time he could spend with his family, friends, and his dogs.

          In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jenkins Blevins of the home; his daughter, Ginger Strivelli of Egypt; his sons, Travis Blevins (Danielle) of Surri, VA, and Bryan “Keith” Bradley (Stephanie) of Manteo, NC; his sisters, Tara Blevins of Waynesville, NC, Deah Blevins Branson (Joe) of Canton, NC, and Siri Blevins Hoover (Frank) of Robbinsville, NC.  He has 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

          The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 pm Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Memorial services will follow at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Lance Burke will officiate and Tim Shook will give the Eulogy. 

          In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kevin’s memory to Graham County Transit, PO Box 1725, Robbinsville, NC  28771.
