Leona (Wiggins) West

Leona Wiggins West, 91, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation. 

A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Holloway Wiggins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis West; her brother, Henry Wiggins; her nephew, Oliver Wiggins; and her great nephew, Brian Wright.  

She is survived by her niece, Sandra Long, of Robbinsville, NC; her nephew, Alfred Wiggins, of Robbinsville, NC; her great niece, Lisa Conley of Andrews, NC; her great nephews, Michael Wiggins of Robbinsville, NC, and Clay Wiggins and Anthony Wiggins, both of Andrews, NC.  She has several great great nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends Josh Stewart and Jack Millsaps will officiate.  Burial will follow at Wiggins Cemetery.  the family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Chapel, prior to the services.
