Leone (Hyde) Wyman

Mary Leone Hyde Wyman, 97, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence, while surrounded by her family.

A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lucy Belle Sherrill Hyde.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wyman, her brothers, Fred Hyde, Cecil Hyde, Ernest Hyde, and Posey Hyde, and her son in law, Beacher Orr.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Austin Wyman; her daughters and sons in law, Velda and Jim McGuire of Robbinsville, NC, Kay Orr of Palm Coast, FL, Vickie and Roger Evans of Vanceburg, KY, Diana and Jimmy Ponder of Branson, MO, Marilyn and Bill Wolfram of Robbinsville, NC, and Elaine Wyman of Hayesville, NC; and her sons and daughters in law, Freddie and Wanda Brooms of Robbinsville, NC, Eddie and Sandy Brooms of Andrews, NC, and Jack and Shirley Brooms of Robbinsville, NC.  She has numerous grandchildren, great grand children, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Her great grandson, Reverend Wayne McGuire will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Friday at the Chapel, prior to the services.  At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Freddie and Wanda Brooms.
