Lois (McKeldrey) Holland

Lois M. Holland, age 90 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Pird and Ada Howell McKeldrey and the foster daughter of Pird and Mary Howell Shuler.

          In addition to her parents and foster parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Pinky” Holland; her daughter, Brenda Holland Millsaps; brothers, John McKeldrey, Lyle McKeldrey, Ed McKeldrey; foster brothers, Jack Shuler, Frank Shuler, Earl Shuler; and sisters, Ethel Bara and Evelyn Frady.

          Lois was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Robbinsville Chapter #224 and the Robbinsville Agayah Club.

          She is survived by her grandson and his wife, Jeff and Brandy Millsaps of Robbinsville, NC; her great grandchildren, Rebekah and Bryan Keener, and Nicholas Millsaps all of Robbinsville, NC.  She is also survived by her son-in-law and his wife, Jack and Linda Millsaps; their daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Shane Garland and their children, Maddie and Grady Garland all of Robbinsville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Jack Millsaps will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Old Mother Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
