Lorraine (Phillips) May

Lorraine Phillips May, age 89 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Monday, July 15, 2019 at Summers County Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Hinton, West Virginia.

           She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Calvin and Grace Orr Phillips.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim May in December of 2000.

          She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Burlin Gladden of Flat Top, WV; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Brenda Prince of Prospect, KY; sister, Louise Walls of Robbinsville, NC; 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

          Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. 

          The family will receive friends from 10:00 till 11:00 am Thursday at the Chapel prior to the service.
