Marvin Dale Harris

Marvin Dale Harris, 39, of Robbinsville, NC passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018.

A native of Gaston County, he had lived in Graham County for many years.  He was the son of Denise and Vern Tipton of Gastonia, NC, and Jimmy Harris of North Carolina.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Peggy Sue Brooks Deaton.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Samantha Galloway; his sons, Darius Harris and Adan Harris, both of Robbinsville, NC, Alex Harris of South Carolina; his daughter, Sibel Harris of Robbinsville, NC; his step daughter, Raigan Moore of Robbinsville, NC; his grandfather, Tom Deaton of Gastonia, NC; his sisters and brothers in law, Shirley and Leon Henderson, and Terri and John McClure, all of Gastonia, NC; his brother and sister in law, Kevin and Misty Tarbush of Gastonia, NC; his second dad, Bob Sellers of Robbinsville, NC; and his second mom, Brenda Keenan of Robbinsville, NC.  His nephews are Wesley Grayson, David Jenkins III, Hunter McClure, Rynn Harris, Tyler Tarbush, Donavon Woodard, Cameron Henderson, and Davion Henderson, and his nieces are Megan Tarbush and Amariah Henderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Sweetgum Baptist Church.  The Reverend Patrick Odell will officiate.
