Marvin Lee Satterfield

Marvin Lee Satterfield age 89 of Robbinsville passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

          He was a native of Gaston Co. and the son of the late Willard Lee and Annie Jordan Satterfield.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Orr Satterfield Millsaps; his brother, and 3 sisters.

          He is survived by his wife, Emmer Dean Orr Satterfield; his sons, David Satterfield, Ike Satterfield, Pat Satterfield all of Robbinsville, NC; Adam Satterfield of Brookhaven, MS; daughters, Brenda Adams of Robbinsville, NC, Anna Kephart of Murphy, NC; and 2 sisters.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren.

          Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, August 18, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel where Masonic Rites will be conducted by Robbinsville Masonic Lodge #672.  Burial will follow the service at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

          The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 3:00 pm Sunday at the Chapel prior to the service.
