Michael Stephens

Michael Smith Stephens, age 66 of the East Buffalo Community of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 23, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

          He was a native of Greer, SC and the son of the late Landrum “Steve” and Doris Ann Smith Stephens.

          Mike was employed as an officer with the NC Wildlife Commission.  He retired from the Wildlife Commission after 30 years of service with the rank of Lieutenant in District 9.

          He is survived by his wife, Donna Odom Stephens; Son and his wife, Josh and Jennifer Stephens of Robbinsville, NC, Daughter and her husband, Jennifer (Jenny) and Chris Carter of Summerfield, NC; sister Shelby Jean Stephens of Powdersville, SC; special Aunt, Martha Hayes of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, Campbell Stephens, Ella and Cabe Arndt, Morgan Odom, Macie Odom, Luke Odom, Lane Odom, Bristol Odom, Bailee Odom, Karli Odom, Kinsley Odom, and Kynnadi Odom.

          Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 26., 2018 at Lone Oak Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00 pm at the Church prior to the Service. The Reverends Patrick Odell and William Wayne Adams will officiate.   

          Committal Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 27, 2018 at Santeetlah Baptist Church Cemetery.
