Nahalia (Garland) Williams

Nahalia Williams, age 86 of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

          She was a native of Blount Co. TN and the daughter of the late Billon and Vannie Cooper Garland.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Big Leonard Williams in 1997, her daughter, Edina Williams in 2016 and her granddaughter, Ailene Howell.

          She is survived by her Daughter and her husband, Claida and Larry Williams of Robbinsville, NC; son and his wife, Raymond and Mary Ann Williams of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren and their spouses, Bryan and Glisha Williams, Wes and Felicia Williams, Rayme Williams; and 9 great grandchildren, Katie, Anna, Triton, Carter, Katelyn, Kandee, Karlee, Josh and Madison.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Kevin Brooks will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Chapel prior to the services.

          In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nahalia’s dear friend and caregiver, Ann Kraushaar who is battling cancer.  Donations can be mailed to Ann at 333 Gladdens Creek Road, Robbinsville, NC 28771 or be dropped off or mailed to Townson-Smith Funeral Home, In care of the Nahalia Williams Family 160 Five Point Road, Robbinsville, NC 28771.
