Nathaniel David Birchfield

Nathan Birchfield, age 52 of the Yellow Creek Community in Robbinsville, NC passed away on June 29, 2019.

          He was the son of Chyneer Turpin Birchfield of Dalton, GA, formerly of Robbinsville, NC and the late G.F. Birchfield.

          In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Jessica Phillips of Robbinsville, NC; daughters, Hailey Paige Birchfield, Natosha Jade Birchfield, and step daughter, Ashley Dawn Underwood all of Robbinsville, NC; his step son, Timothy Cable of Robbinsville, NC; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Brenda Birchfield, Steve and Denise Birchfield, and Shannon Birchfield all of Robbinsville, NC; and his sisters, Mavis Ann Franklin and Terry Meadows of Dalton, GA, and Teresa and Daryl Orr of Robbinsville, NC.  He has 7 Step Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Patrick O’Dell will officiate.  Burial will follow at Lower Yellow Creek Cemetery.  Th family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
