Niece (Jones) Orr

Niece Orr, age 83 of the East Buffalo Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN.

          She was a native of the Proctor Settlement in Swain County and the daughter of Lee and Rosie Hughes Jones.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughters, Diana and Kay Orr; her brothers, Denny Jones, Steve Jones, Robert Jones; sisters, Mildred Hopkins, and Dot Jones.

          She is survived by her husband, Ted Orr; her sister, Willie Jones of Cleveland, TN and several nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lone Oak Baptist Church.  The Reverends Mickey Stewart and Aud Brown will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.    The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 7:00 pm Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.
