Oscar Patton Jones

Oscar Patton Jones, 91, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, NC.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Henry Alfred and Zettie Silvers Jones.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Etta Mae Hampton Jones.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Dianne and Ron Williams of Maryville, TN, and Arthur and Victoria Jones of Robbinsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Reverend Larry Grindstaff will officiate.  Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm Saturday at the Chapel, prior to the service.
