Roger Allen Webster

Roger Allen Webster, 78, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.

          A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Bert Vernon and Ruth Catherine Rogers Webster.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Oma Jane Webster in 2007.

          Roger was a Veteran having served his country proudly in the US Army.

          He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Wendy and Eddie Waldroup; his grandchildren, Chelsea Anderson, Steven Anderson, and Jessica Anderson Cody (Jarrod); his great grandchildren, Cadence Cody and Aspen Cody; his brothers, Tom Webster of Lexington, GA, and Larry Webster and Dickie Webster, both of Robbinsville, NC; and his sisters, Sue Coleman of Old Fort, TN, and Cathy Rogers of Robbinsville, NC.

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.  The Reverends Kevin Crane, Tom Buchanan, and Daniel Stewart will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Friday at the Chapel, prior to the arrangements.  Burial will follow at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
