Steve Mullinax

Stephen Alan Mullinax, 65, of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Swain Community Hospital in Bryson City, NC.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late Rosa Lee Farley Mullinax.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Mullinax and Marvin Mullinax.

Steve was a Veteran, having served his country proudly in the US Army.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Kayla Rutkosky of Almond, NC, and his son and daughter in law, Seth and Shae Mullinax of Robbinsville, NC; his grandchildren, Wake Mullinax, Harper Rutkosky, Hollyn Rutkosky, and Jax Mullinax; his brother and sister in law, David and Colleen Mullinax of Robbinsville, NC; and his sisters in law, Wanda Mullinax of Maryville, TN, and Lois Mullinax of Robbinsville, NC.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00pm Monday, July 29, 2019 at Townson-Smith Funeral Home where a flag presentation will be conducted by the NC National Guard Honor Guard.  Reverend Mike Teem will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Monday at the Chapel, prior to the service.
