Arlene (Carringer) Blankenship

Arlene Blankenship, 62 of the Stecoah Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Emory University Medical Center in Atlanta, GA.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of Alma Hyde Carringer and the late Garfield Carringer.

          In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gary Blankenship; daughters and their husbands, Crystal and Josh Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC, D.J. and Brett Kerby of Canton, NC; 6 grandchildren, Ella, Emma, and Olivia Carpenter, Ricki and Denver Kerby, and Dakota Blankenship.  She is also survived by her sisters, Mildred Moose, Loretta Moore; brothers, Hank Carringer, and Andy Carringer all of Robbinsville, NC.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at the Jenkins Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Sunday at the chapel prior to the service.
