Betty Jenkins age 92 of Stecoah, died Thursday, February 1, 2023 in an Andrews care facility.
She was a native of Pineville, Kentucky but had been living in Graham County since 1955. Betty was a home maker and was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Berry Paul and Nannie Crisp Laws and the wife of the late McKinley Jenkins who died November 15, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a son, Berry Paul Jenkins who died May 18, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Williams and husband, Harold of Robbinsville, and Bertha Guffey and husband, Michael of Andrews; and one son Taylor Jenkins of the home; also survived by five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 4, 2024 in Stecoah Baptist Church with the Reverend Coy Adams officiating. Interment will be in Yellow Branch family cemetery. Pallbearer will be Bill Dahdah, Robby Millsaps, Rodney Millsaps, and Robby Shuler, Davie Williams, and Joseph Benton. Honorary Pallbearer will be James Benton.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 pm Sunday, at Stecoah Baptist Church, prior to the service.
