Betty Carver Styles of the Pinhook Community passed away Sunday January 28, 2024.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late James & Louise Cable Carver. Betty was proceeded in death by siblings Larry Carver and Jimmy Carver, and Linda Lane; her mother-n-law Thema Styles; two son-n-laws Ken Curto of Brevard, and Larry Rogers of Robbinsville. The greatest loss Betty ever endured was that of her Grandson Trey Norton of Brevard.
Betty is survived by her husband Sammie Styles and dog Brut. Her children Darren Hendricks, Bobbie Curto, Annette Pressley, and Julie McBee (Vernon). Her siblings, Billy Carver (Sissy), Kenneth Carver, Cathy Crawford (Terry), Sandra Daniels, and Joyce Patterson. Betty has a slew of nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren are Richard Rogers, Marie Rogers Brown (Bucky), Tran Hendricks, Faith Hendricks Hicks (Jeremy), Victoria Norton Sexton (Cameron). Her Great grandchildren, Christian Rogers, Brendan Cole (Hannah), Karree Cole, Anistasia Hendricks, Walker Hicks, Cason and Charlie Sexton, and her only Great Great Grandchild Baylin Cole.
Betty will be remembered by her family for her gardening, cooking, and simple way of life.
