Betty Jean Roberts (Edmonds) Crisp

Betty Jean Roberts Crisp, 82 of the Gladdens Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Friday, October 27, 2023, at her residence.

          Betty was formerly of Murphy, NC but has resided in Robbinsville for over 20 years.  She was born in Henderson Co. to the late Jesse Edmonds and Emmiline Hollifield.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, James Howard Roberts; her son, Robin Dale Roberts; and her second husband, James Paul Crisp.

          She is survived by her son and his wife, Steven and Alicia Roberts of Robbinsville, NC, Daughter and her husband, Angela and Roger Bryan of St. George Island, FL, and 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Kevin, Bryan and Savannah.

          Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The Reverends Tom Buchanan and Jack Millsaps will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 till 12:00 pm at the chapel prior to the service.

          Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 pm following the funeral service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 582 Greenlawn Cemetery Road, Murphy, NC.
