Obituary
Billy Max (Bill) Garland, 82 of Robbinsville, NC passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2023, following a long illness.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Wade and Edith Rose Garland.
A surveyor by trade, Billy was an avid outdoorsman, a skilled craftsman, and a gifted storyteller. He was a well-respected and much-loved figure in the Sweetwater Community. There was no problem he could not solve and no item he could not repair. Billy’s love for his family and friends knew no bounds.
He is survived by his wife Gayle; his brother Dale Garland (Mackie) of Andrews. NC; sister, Mae Hensley (Johnny) of Robbinsville, NC and several nieces, nephews and friends to cherish his memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
