Billy Lee Wheeler

Billy Lee Wheeler, 76, of Robbinsville, NC, passed Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his residence.

         He was the son of the late William and Mary Ruth Gibson Wheeler.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by wife Evelyn Moose Wheeler,  sister Brenda Gee; brother Danny Wheeler.  

Billy is survived by his sister, Barbara (Danny) Bright, brothers Dennis Wheeler, Bobby Wheeler, David Wheeler, Jimmy (Minnie) Wheeler, and Timmie (Sheila) Wheeler; stepdaughter Brenda Burrell (Tyson) Anderson, stepson Tommy Burrell and wife Robin Miller, step-grandchildren Stone Phillips and fiancé Brooke Thier, Taryn (Paden) Welch, Ryder Anderson, Tabitha Burrell (Dennis) Ashe, Matthew (Tabitha) Cochran, Brandy Burrell and Courtney Burrell.  He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, along with many other friends and family.

Billy worked many years with Phillips and Jordan, Inc. before retiring from the company.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the Townson-Smith Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service.  The Reverend Dwayne Patterson will officiate.
