Bobby McGuire, 61 of Robbinsville, NC passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Clayton, GA.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of Jim and Velda Brooms McGuire.
Bobby was a hardworking honest man that loved God, his family and friends. He had a firm foundation and belief in God which was evident in his daily walk. He was a member and Deacon of Cedar Cliff Baptist Church and the legacy he leaves behind will forever leave an impact on the lives of those he touched.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marsha Davis McGuire; children, Josh McGuire (Angela “Red”), Rev. Wayne McGuire (Jessica), Kurie Briggs (Scott); a special friend that was considered a brother, Bucky Lane; 6 grandchildren, Carter, Avery, MyKayla, Ella, Zeyli, and Maysa; brothers, Jonathan McGuire (Ann), Heath McGuire (Tracy); sister, Jamie Rogers (Keith “Beefy”).
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church. Reverends Mickey Stewart, Wayne McGuire, and Daniel Stewart will officiate.
Burial will follow the service at the Hooper-McGuire Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Bucky Lane, RB Bailey, Wess Williams, Raymond Williams, Terry Reighard, Bobby Daniels, Russell McGuire, Daniel Millsaps; and Honorary Pallbearers will be, Carter McGuire, Avery McGuire, and Brian Williams.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Church prior to the service.
