Bradley Lawrence Messer, 22 of Winder, GA passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at his residence.
Bradley was a graduate of Winder-Barrow High School's Class of 2020 where he served in the JROTC. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served four years of active duty as an infantryman. Recently, Bradley joined the United States Navy in the Armory. He will be remembered best for his contagious smile that would light up any room and his fun loving personality.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Eugene Messer Jr., step-father, Jeffery Alan Orr Sr., sister, Christina Glaze, grandfather, Alvin Eugene Messer Sr., and maw-maw, Eula Williams.
Bradley is survived by his loving mother, Angie Orr; siblings, Brailee Messer (Greg Cox), Christian Orr, Hilda Joy Pitts (Andrew), Susan Pruett, Kathryn Orr, and Jeffery Alan Orr Jr.; grandparents, Bill Orr (Dee Dee), Virgil Warren (Joyce), Donna Jordan, Tony SantaMaria (Danielle); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Bobby Smith and Teddy Silvers will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Davis-Messer family cemetery in Bryson City, NC, where Military Rites and Flag Presentation will be conducted by the NC National Guard Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm Thursday at the Townson-Smith Chapel prior to the service.
