Brenda Lois Queen

Brenda Lois Queen, 67, of Candler NC passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

          She was the daughter of the late John and Jennie-Belle Turner Smith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jackie Queen and sister Kathy Ann Jones.

          She is survived by her sons, Hubert (Mia) Queen of NC, Jackie (Debra) Queen, Mike (Jessica) Queen all of GA; daughter, Michelle (Jerry) Evrett of GA; sisters, Ella (Lonnie) Cole, Wanda Smith, Debbie Pitts all of KY and Mary Burrell of NC; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.  

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Carver Cemetery.
