Butch Collins

Butch Collins, 68 of the Franks Creek community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday, May 7, 2023, at his residence.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of Betty Griggs Collins and the late Dillard Collins.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Collins.

          Butch was a member of the Robbinsville Masonic Lodge #672 and a member of Sweetgum Baptist Church.

          In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amy Phillips Collins; son and daughter in law, Lance and Emily Collins of Robbinsville, NC; and grandchild, Nash Collins, who was his “Poppy’s” pride and joy.

          Private graveside services for family and close friends will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Grindstaff Cemetery.  The Reverends Patrick Odell and G.D. Phillips will officiate.
