Charles Britton Jr.

Charles Britton Jr., passed away November 28, 2024, at Park Ridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.

He was born and raised in Tellico TN, to Charles and Veldie (McDowell) Britton, whom proceeded him in death. Along with his four brothers and five sisters. Brothers, Woody, Bill, Jean and Reed. Sisiters, EulaRae, Sadie, Rena, Betty and Faye.

He was married to his loving wife, Ima Jean Moore on March 24, 1965, after being together for many years, before being married, she also proceeded him in death.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Kitty (Allen) Britton, and grandson, Abel Britton, all of Robbinsville, NC. Sister-in-law, Sandra Britton of Roseville Michigan. He has too many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews to list.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, December 6, 2024, in the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverend GD Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm prior to the service. Committal Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
