Charles "Chuck" Russell Sylvester

Charles “Chuck” Russell Sylvester, born in Andrews, NC went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 4,2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

          He was the son of the late Eugene Sylvester and surviving stepmother DiLois Sylvester.

          Chuck served his country in the United States Army, and he loved racing cars in Hickory, NC.  He also enjoyed moving to Graham County, the place he has loved for 25 years.

He was a brother to the late Randy and Ronnie Sylvester; sister, Richelle Rockett of Asheville, NC, brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Debbie Sylvester of Newton, NC and his late Aunt Ovelle Stanley.

          He is survived by his wife Judy Sylvester, stepson, Brent Triplett of Wilmington, NC, Uncle, Morris Rogers, Aunts, Christen Lyons of VA, Freda Reynolds of VA, Barbie Greene of NC, and Brenda Wartz of TN.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          A Celebration of Life Service will be held later this year.
