Obituary
Clarence Silvers, 91 of the Beech Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Elza and Hattie Farr Silvers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Iva Jean Allen Silvers, and his 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Clarence was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Silvers; daughters and their husbands, Gail and Larry Hyde of Robbinsville, NC, Vickie and Steven Gibson of Murphy, NC, stepdaughter, Doris Ann Millsaps of Robbinsville, NC, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Coy Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery where Flag Presentation and Military Rites will be conducted by the Carringer Webster VFW Post #8635 and the Eller Rogers American Legion Post #192.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Chapel prior to the service.
