Clinton Leroy Stiles

Clinton Leroy Stiles, age 85 of the Beech Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away, Sunday January 11, 2026, at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Waynesville, NC.

          He was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Andy and Maggie Kitchens Stiles.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Sue Graves Stiles in January of 2017; his son-in-law, David Hall Jenkins; and his brother, Neal Stiles.

          Clinton was a Veteran of the United States Army, and he was employed as an Electronic Technician for the telephone company for over 50 years.  His skills and abilities were in constant demand, and he was employed by all the various telephone companies in our area over the years.

          He is survived by his children and their spouses, Rick and Lisa Stiles of Hickory, NC, Debbie and Roger Jordan, and Martha Jenkins of Robbinsville, NC; brothers, Gilbert Stiles of Robbinsville, NC, Marshall Stiles of Shelby, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and David Sullivan of Virginia; grandchildren, Anthony Brown, Eden Brown, Kristy Orr, Lance Lane, Ricky Stiles, Stephanie Mounts; and 15 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
