Cora Shook Obituary

Cora Lee Riddle Shook, 80, of Andrews, NC, formerly of Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital in Murphy, NC.

A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude Wiggins Riddle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Shook, her daughter, Karyn Shook Conley, and her son, Karl Shook.

Cora Lee is survived by her daughter and son in law, Nadine Shook and Jacob Jumper, of Andrews, NC; her granddaughters, Laura Beth Shook and Ericka LeeAnne Shook, both of Andrews, NC; her brothers, Steve Riddle of Robbinsville, NC, Dee Riddle of Canton, GA, and Paul Riddle of Waynesville, NC.  She also leaves several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate.  Burial will follow at Old Mother Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the Chapel, prior to the service.

Due to the risk of exposure to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the services.
