Douglas Edward Wilson

Douglas Edward Wilson, 62, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 at his residence.

A native of Graham County, he was the son of the late T.J. and Flossie Shope Wilson.

Doug was a Veteran having served his country proudly in the US Army.

He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Misty and Mark Ware and Kimberly and Jerry Tipton, all of Robbinsville, NC, Amber Wilson and Katie Wilson, both of Athens, TN, and Trinity Wilson of Robbinsville, NC; his son, Marlon Adams of Athens, TN; his sister, Sharon Patterson of Robbinsville, NC; and his brothers, Dennis Wilson and Dale Wilson, both of Robbinsville, NC.  He has seven grandchildren, Danielle Tipton, Eli Tipton, Christopher Shope, Nathanael Shope, Kadence Viar, Kaben Davidson, and Maggie Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Midway Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm at the Church prior to the service.  At Doug’s request, no flowers are requested, but donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
