Earl "Mackie" Mack Lequire

Earl Mack “Mackie” Lequire, 64 of the yellow Creek community of Robbinsville, NC passed, Monday, October 25, 2021, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

          He was a native of Graham County and the son of the late Curley Lequire and Hazel Ditmore Miller. In addition to his birth parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Mack and Lena Ditmore, his son, Jason Earl Lequire, and his brother, Charles Anderson.

          Mackie was a Veteran, having served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS SIMS. He was also a member of the Robbinsville Masonic Lodge #672.

          He is survived by his son, Travis Lequire and a host of cousins and close friends. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Luke and Lorin Lequire, Kayden Lequire, Corey and Caitlin Lequire, Eli Carver, Olen Lequire, Macy Lequire and 1 great grandchild, Jaxson Wheeler.

          Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Ditmore-Cody Cemetery, located on Yellow Creek Road in Robbinsville, NC.  Flag presentation will be conducted by the United States Navy Funeral Honor Detail.
