Edna (Hooper) Moody

     Edna Hooper Moody, 88, of Robbinsville went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Maggie Valley, NC.

     Edna was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Milburn and Emma Hyde Hooper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wade Moody; brother, Vincent Hooper; sisters, Lillian Sharpe, Ethel Smith, Ola Pressley, and Ruth Smith.

     She is survived by her daughters Wanda Collins and husband Tommy of Robbinsville, NC, Jan Stewart and husband Steve of Robbinsville, NC; grandchildren Randy Collins and wife Analisa of Robbinsville, NC, Emmy Stewart Messer and husband Jerry of Waynesville, NC; great grandchildren Carden Collins Millsaps and Husband Ethan of Hiddenite, NC, Boone Messer and Mia Messer both of Waynesville, NC; and her sister Allene Montgomery of Robbinsville, NC.

     Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in the Old Mother Cemetery. Her grandson, Reverend Randy Collins will officiate.
