Effie Sherrill Obituary

Effie Garland Sherrill, 99, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Robbinsville, NC.

A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Dave and Mary

Williams Garland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Sherrill.

Effie is survived by her daughter, Wanda McMahan of Robbinsville, NC, and her grandsons, John McMahan of Ball Ground, GA and Jerry McMahan of Burlington, VT.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Old Mother Cemetery. Reverend GD Phillips will officiate.

Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, face coverings and social distancing will be required by those attending the graveside service.
