Elenore Hyde

 Elenore Hyde, 79, passed away, peacefully on February 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

          Elenore was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Monroe and Shirley Hyde.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Norman Hyde; her brother, James Hyde, and her sister Amanda Hooper.

          As the family matriarch she was devoted to her children and grandchildren and beloved by all who knew her.

          Elenore worked at Kmart for over 30 years before she retired in 2019.  Wen not looking after the family or working she took great pleasure in caring for her garden and plants.

          She is survived by her children, Debrah Cutshaw, Lisa Berkan, Teresa Polly, and Donald Hyde; Grandchildren, Kyle and Nicole Williams, Elizabeth Pearcy, Vincent, Giselle, Leyla and Lucian Berkan; great grandchildren, Gary and Brandon Sharp, Khloe Pearcy, Mason and Aurora Berkan and great great grandchildren, Hudson and Olivia Sharp.  She is also survived by her siblings Alma Carringer, and Bea Smith.

          A Memorial Service for friends and family to celebrate Elenore’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Sweetgum Baptist Church in Robbinsville, NC.
