Elizabeth Ann (Constance) Orr

      Elizabeth Ann “Nanny” Constance Orr, 90, of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord and loved ones on October 9, 2021, at her daughter’s residence on Gladdens Creek Road in Robbinsville, NC.

       Ann was the daughter of the late Homer Constance and the late Agnes Moody Constance. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Clyde Orr, infant son David Keith Orr, infant grandson Arlus Lee Orr and infant great-grandson Westin Clyde Orr.

     Nanny was the matriarch of a large family for whom she served as the cornerstone of; Nanny was also known for her eccentric personality, doors that were always open and tables that were always full of food to feed anyone and everyone.

   She is survived by her children, Thomas Orr, Daryl Orr (Teresa), Donnie Orr, Vickie Orr, Rick Orr (Joy), and Reece Orr all of Robbinsville, NC, sisters, Dorothea Beasley, and Laura Jane Odom also of Robbinsville, NC.

   Nanny had 13 grandchildren, Kelly Orr (Amy), Travis Orr (Kelley), Rebecca Buckner Lynnes (Tory Lynnes), Donnie Orr (Chastity), Aaron Orr, Allison Orr Rogers (Shawn Rogers), Oren Orr (Misty), Veronica Orr Bird (James Bird), Ashton Orr Massey (Chris Massey), Sarah Orr, Autumn Orr, Tristan Orr, Kayleb Orr; 22 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as 8 nieces/nephews, 16 great-nieces/nephews, and many great-great-nieces/nephews.

   Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Santeetlah Cemetery. The Reverends Daniel Stewart and Mickey Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 12:45 pm at the Townson-Smith Chapel prior to the Graveside

  Due to the risk of Covid-19 Facial coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the services.
