Emmer Dean (Orr) Satterfield

     Emmer Dean Satterfield, 88 of the Long Branch Rd. Community of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.

     She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Roscoe and Mattie Lane Orr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 6 siblings, daughter, Patricia Orr Millsaps, and her husband, Marvin Satterfield in August of 2019.

     She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Adams of Robbinsville, NC, Anna Kephart of Murphy, NC; sons, David Satterfield, Ike Satterfield, Pat Satterfield all of Robbinsville, NC, and Adam Satterfield of Brookhaven, MS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 27 great great grandchildren, and 13 great great great grandchildren.

     Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Reverends Patrick O’Dell, Michael Stewart, and Coy Adams will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 2:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service.
