Ethel Waldroup

Ethel L. Waldrop, 90, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away January 16, 2022. She was born on June 27, 1931, to the late Pose and Angeline Lynn. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Ernest B. Waldrop; and her children, Mitchell Waldrop and Steve Waldrop. She is survived by her children, Bill (Lanne) Waldroup, Danny (Vickie) Waldrop, Joe (Jo) Waldrop, Paul (Donna) Waldrop, Terry (Beverly) Waldrop, and Debbie (Tony) Harper; her 32 grandchildren; her 64 great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 23, 2022 in the Townson-Smith Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 prior to the service.
